Gas Sector Development Program

The purpose of the TA is to help the Government prepare a gas sector development program. The program will include: (i) a policy agenda; (ii) priority investments; and (iii) an institutional strengthening component. The Government has proposed several investments for ADB financing under the Program. These have been selected from the sub-projects from the Gas Sector Master Plan prepared by the Government. The expected results are: (i) sector assessment and policy agenda; (ii) review of technical superiority of proposed project components, sector development policy component, and the entire project; (iii) preparation of financial, economic, social and environmental assessment reports of the proposed project; (iv) a project framework including a policy matrix; and (v) dissemination and discussion of study findings.
