Gateway of India Modern Jetty Project

planned

The Maharashtra government plans to develop a modern jetty at Mumbai's Gateway of India to ease congestion and improve the movement of passengers and vessels along the waterfront. The project includes building a modern jetty, improving passenger amenities, introducing better boats, strengthening jetty management systems, developing marinas, and improving safety and operational efficiency. Jetty No. 5 is proposed to be designated primarily for private and larger yachts to reduce pressure on existing passenger jetties.
