Description | The Gateway Sewer Upgrades project consists of new construction of sewer services to extend to new developments at Gateway Drive. This capital project involves the construction of new sewer lines on Legion Road, enabling development of Gateway Lots 2, 4 and 5. The project consists of building 590 meters of municipal sewer services, extending services to a significant amount of vacant land suitable for new housing. Improving this area with necessary sewer services will allow developments that support housing density as the lack of sufficient sewer services has impeded development to date. Future development is contingent on the completion of this project. Existing services do not have the capacity to add additional developments, and some extension to services will be needed. |
