Gbessia International Airport expansion (Phase 1)

The project entails the modernisation and extension of Gbessia International Airport in Conakry, Guinea. The construction covers a new terminal for domestic and international passengers and the associated infrastructure: a new cargo terminal, a parking area, and the renovation and extension of the runway and main taxiways. The Republic of Guinea, Africa50 and Groupe ADP signed the 25-year concession. Under the terms of the shareholders agreement signed on 3 February 2020, the three partners will acquire a stake in the SPV - Société de Gestion de l’Aéroport de Gbessia (SOGEAG). The share capital is broken down as follows: 34% held by the Republic of Guinea, 33% by Africa50 and 33% by Groupe ADP.
