GE Turbojet Engine Facility Expansion in Oklahoma

General Electric (GE), in partnership with Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, is expanding with a new state-of-the-art turbojet engine facility in Bristow, Oklahoma. The facility will initially span 50,000 square feet on a 20-acre site, scalable to 100,000 square feet, with up to five production lines dedicated to the GEK family of turbojet engines, focusing on GEK800 and GEK1500 models. It aims to produce up to 500 engines annually, supporting military and aerospace applications. Operations are expected to start by mid-2026, with full ramp-up by Q4 2026, and three small engine test cells funded by state grants to be operational in 2027. The project will create significant employment opportunities and enhance U.S. defense manufacturing capabilities.
