Description
Description | Generadora Eolica Argentina del Sur (GEASSA) received the environment approval to build own and operate a 1,350 MW wind farm to be located in the region of Chubut, Argentina. As of late 2012, the project was close to achieving a financing package arranged by the China Development Bank for USD 3.5 billion. Under the arrangement, Beijing turbine manufacturer Beijing contruction Engineering Group would provide the turbines for the project. Project comissioning was expected for late 2014. Financial closure was achieved in June 2013, when the China Development Bank approved a US$ 261 million 12-year credit package for the initial phase of the 1350 MW Gastre wind complex (the first two 150 MW plants). http://washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-MDRB1C6TTDSJ01-0L9I0ARALRADT902JPFOL1UR1N |
