Description | Geauga County Airport has broken ground on a new T-hangar to provide parking space for aircraft. The project includes building materials on site, framework erected, and upcoming sheet metal work. The expansion aims to accommodate eight aircraft currently on the waiting list and is expected to be completed by late spring 2026. The project is funded by Geauga County and a Federal Aviation Administration grant from the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Rental income from the new hangar will support maintenance and upgrades of existing airport facilities. |
