Description

Description

The module is finalized to the promotion of gender equality as well as equal oppurtunity. It intends to sensitize its participants to the correct use of the tools that would guarantee gender equality, as a response to the values which are prefixed at european level. The lessons are taught in italian and/or spanish. They will take place in Università Mercatorum’s main offices, with the added option of participating remotely, and will be held by Italian and Spanish professors and experts (Counsellors of Equality, managers etc.). A first phase will focus on the measures applied at european level concerning gender equality, enhancing the CGUE’s projectile role. Subsequently, there will be an illustration of the methods of recognition of said principles in the Italian and Spanish judicial orders. Following this will be an in-depth analysis of the psychological and logistical impact of gender inequality in the work environment. The module is open to all university students, trade unionists, Counsellors for Equality, public and private managers and entrepreneurs who are called to establish gender equality plans. We expect an attendance, for each year, of 50-70 participants in-person and about 100 in remote. We are in favour of disseminating the european principles of gender equality and the executive tools related to them, also by comparing the Italian and Spanish judicial systems and coaching a number of service operators, both in the public and private sectors, engaged in taking action on gender equality. Consequently, we intend to favour the perception of the european institution’s projectile role, coherently with the principle of active citizenship. To this end, we expect, various study days focusing on specific aspects, which will be promoted on the University’s website and social media channels. Furthermore, the publication of volumes and articles, at least 10 in number, in specialized magazines will be promoted on the University’s website and social media channels.
