Today’s mobility is no longer able to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s city. The pharaonic costs of traffic jams, environmental and public health issues demonstrate this. What can we do in this context of the potential offered by autonomous vehicles, a technological brick of a mobility service capable of responding to these challenges, but of which everything is to be thought, both in terms of user acceptance, technical and economic viability or compatibility with the city, its infrastructure and urban planning?Thanks to its partners from the world of transport and mobility, studies, the conduct of innovation and technologies, the echosmile project aims to support the development of an innovative service offering intelligent and sustainable mobility. By means of experiments in contact with usage in a cross-border territory where the density of mobility is incomparable, it will lay the foundations for the implementation of an expected and sustainable mobility solution.
