The project involves the financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the General Santos City Central Public Market for 28 years in the Philippines.The unsolicited proposal is a Public-Private Partnership arrangement for the redevelopment of the existing Public Market located in Barangay Dadiangas South, General Santos City, which shall consist of 3 floors, with space allocation for the new public market and commercial complex. The Project aims to:address the old and inadequate structures and facilities of the existing public market;provide a viable market complex;generate more income and livelihood opportunities;eliminate the City Government’s annual subsidy to the public market while generating additional revenue for the City Government; andoptimize the value of the assets of the City Government.
