Description

Description

"Angel Distribution A/S is a veteran independent player in the Danish film industry. Bringing European films to a Danish audience is a crucial goal for Angel Distribution A/S. We aim to start working with our films at as early a stage as possible – both in terms of promotion and media as well as deciding on marketing activities and in building an audience. We release all types of independent films and genres. We are specialised in films aimed at young audiences. We’ll release and curate these films under our brand ""Rabalder Bio"". For this activity we were awarded ""European Distributor of the Year"" at Cartoon Movie 2017. In 2023 we added to our brand a category in where we select films aimed at the youngest audiences and by that giving them the best first visit to the cinema. This is a high priority for us to educate children and young adults by providing them with the option to see films in cinemas instead of on other screens. Out other focus is to bring home quality films from European filmmakers and make them available for audiences in Denmark - theatrically as well as on digital, streaming, DVD and TV. Most recent campaigns benefitting or that will benefit from the programme are Sterben, Red Island, The Teacher who Promised the Sea, Superklaus, From Hilde With Love and many more. The activities above – whether it is bringing new films to our market or campaigning for these in an ambitious manner - are only possible thanks to the support from Creative Europe’s reinvestment programme."
