Description

Description

Generation and Reinvestment – Acquisition of Rights and Theatrical Release of up to 12 Non-National European Films in Poland This project supports the acquisition of theatrical rights and the nationwide release in Poland of up to 12 new non-national European films. It will also cover promotional and advertising activities, as well as the preparation and translation of various promotional and distribution materials – Including trailers, advertising layouts and banners, DCP copies, and press kits. Aurora Films will identify these films through a combination of festival and market screenings, professional reviews, meetings with sales agents, online screeners, and recommendations from industry professionals across Europe. For each title, a minimum guarantee will be paid upon the countersignature of the distribution agreement. While the core distribution strategy is based on screenings in studio cinemas, films with strong commercial appeal may also be released in multiplexes. All releases will be nationwide. Each release – depending on the number of towns, copies, and anticipated box office performance – will be supported by a comprehensive promotional and marketing campaign. This will include advertising on TV, radio, print media, websites, blogs, and social media. Most titles will also be presented at film festivals or thematic reviews to generate early buzz, positive word-of-mouth, and initial media coverage. In addition, at least one screening for press and media partners will be organized. Ahead of each release, a PR agency will engage with journalists, critics, YouTubers, and bloggers to secure media coverage through reviews, interviews with cast and crew, and a variety of features and promotional content. Tailored activities and special initiatives – inspired by the unique qualities of each film – will help target specific audiences and contribute to achieving satisfactory box office results.
