Description
Description | The project consists in the replacement of a generator 30 kW (37.5 kVA) in the Visual Arts Pavilion at Concordia University. This generator has reached the end of its useful life. The pavilion’s emergency power supply primarily serves the emergency lighting, IT servers, fire alarm, drain pumps and the garage door. The plan is to replace the generator in the same place as the existing one, in the mechanical room in the basement. The existing diesel tank must be replaced with a double wall tank with leak detection. This project includes work to bring the mechanical room and the ventilation system up to standard. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading the quality of school infrastructure. |
