Genesee River Watershed Implementation Plan

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is developing a watershed implementation plan to improve water quality in the Genesee River, its tributaries, and the lakes and ponds it feeds into. The plan focuses on addressing sediment and nutrient pollution and will guide the continuation and possible updates of a previous 2015 watershed plan. Public engagement sessions are being held to gather input from governments and groups on pollution concerns and potential projects to address them.
