GENLINK – Bridging Generations Through Dialogue, Solidarity, and Civic Engagement

GENLINK is a pan-European youth civil society network coordinated by EDUPRO (Lithuania), connecting organisations across ten countries to strengthen intergenerational dialogue, youth civic engagement, and democratic participation. Over two years (2026–2027), the network will deliver coordinated local and transnational activities that connect young people and older adults through dialogue, storytelling, digital media, and community action. The initiative supports the EU Youth Strategy’s objectives to engage, connect, and empower, with a focus on underrepresented youth (e.g. rural, migrant, LGBTQ+). Activities include civic cafés, participatory workshops, youth-led media campaigns, and creative formats such as Newspaper Theatre. Key themes include generational solidarity, environmental sustainability, digital inclusion, memory and democracy, and EU values. EDUPRO, as sole beneficiary, will manage the work programme under a shared Memorandum of Understanding signed by all partners. GENLINK will increase the visibility of EU youth programmes and contribute to policy implementation through structured outputs such as joint podcasts, digital magazines, policy briefs, and the GENLINK Civic Tools Toolkit.
