The plan includes 10,000 MW of new generation capacity by 2030, with 58% from gas-fired units, extending coal plants like Plant Bowen and Scherer, and adding gas-fired capacity at Plant McIntosh and other sites. Additionally, a 10-year transmission plan will add over 1,000 miles of new lines to support grid modernization and integrate distributed energy resources. |
