Geronimo Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion

The City of Seguin is seeking bidders to carry out the expansion of the Geronimo Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant and the decommissioning of the Walnut Branch Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project will expand the Geronimo Creek plant capacity to 12 million gallons per day from 5.54 million gallons per day. It will include constructing a raw sewage lift station at the Walnut Branch site and a nearly 3-mile double-barrel force main to convey the wastewater to the Geronimo wastewater facility for treatment. It will also include four aeration basins, three final clarifiers, two chlorine contact basins, conversion of existing structures to aerobic digestion and gravity thickening.
