GYMNASIUM VII Project aspires to improve the significant knowledge acquired so far - GYMNASIUM is indeed a strong and successful EYE Consortium since 2009 - thus consolidating its experience and branding. GYMNASIUM VII aims to help NEs to spend periods in SMEs run by experienced entrepreneurs in the EYE eligible countries and to give HEs the possibility to benefit from new contacts and fresh views. The core-goal is to enhance entrepreneurship, develop international outlook and SMES competitiveness by fostering start-ups and wanna be entrepreneurs as well as involving HEs to both enhance their business. The GYMNASIUM VII partnership is composed by 13 Intermediary Organizations, 6 experienced and 7 new, bringing together Chambers of Commerce, Business Incubator, technology Parks and Governmental Agencies. The consortium will be covering a broad area from the Mediterranean Area to the Central, Baltic and Northern Europe (North-East Italy, Slovenia, Belgium, Northern Spain, Denmark, Iceland, Scandinavia, Baltic Region and Central Hungary). The 6 experienced IOs, each one with responsibility for a specific macro-area and in charge of managing the relations with the Lead Organization and the Support Office, will support the new IOs in the day-by-day management of the Programme, taking also advantage of the EEN services (10 out of the 13 partners are part of the EEN).
