Description | The AF will support health sector operations to respond to urgent needs for the COVID-19 vaccine purchase and deployment. It will finance vaccines acquisition, vaccines deployment, further strengthening disease surveillance system and case management. The support from the AF will include: (i) support for COVID-19 vaccination services as per their COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment Plans; (ii) training of vaccinators, (iii) in-country transport of COVID-19 vaccines to regions and districts; (iv) in-country supply chain management. It will also support the government to put in place effective measures for the management of medical and hazardous health wastes. |
