Description | The Ghana Petroleum Hub project is a strategic initiative to develop a petroleum and petrochemical hub in Ghana to address Africa's growing fuel deficit. The project includes three refineries with a combined capacity of 900,000 barrels per stream day, five petrochemical plants, and storage capacity of 10 million cubic meters. It also involves infrastructure such as jetties capable of handling large crude carriers, road networks, railway links, and utilities on a 20,000-acre serviced land in Jomoro, Western Region. The project aims to boost Ghana's economy, create jobs, and reduce Africa's dependence on imported petroleum products. |
