Description | Gia Lai Cane Sugar and Thermoelectricity JSC was planning the development of the 12 MW Gia Lai Biomass Plant, Cheo Reo Ward, Ayunpa Town, Gia Lai Province. The project was expected to generate 86,400 MWh, of which 64,800 MWh was expected to be delivered to the national grid (75%). The expected life of the project was 25 years. Commissioning was expected for 2013. The emissions factor used in the CDM application was 0.5764, as supplied by the DNA Vietnam (2010). The EPC contract was signed in January 2010. The project applied for UNFCCC/CDM financing, the carbon credits were to be purcvhased by the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation NEFCO. Total cost was unknown, the FC was unknown. Estimated here is January 2010 (signing EPC contract).
