Description | MiniMines Cleantech Solutions has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Electronics, IT and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, to establish a ₹350 crore Giga Critical Minerals Refining Complex in Bengaluru. The first phase will have a refining capacity of 15,000 MTPA, producing 13,400 tonnes of annual throughput. The complex will refine high-purity lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper, graphite, and other critical minerals and rare earth elements, supporting industries such as electric vehicles, renewable energy, aerospace, defence, and electronics. The facility will use MiniMines' patented Hybrid-Hydrometallurgy process and integrate R&D efforts for rare earth magnet recovery. A dedicated research and training centre is also planned. |
