"The project ""GIVE 3 - Gaziantep Inclusion by Volunteers from the EU"" includes 40 Italian and Turkish volunteers in social-oriented activities in Gaziantep (TR) bringing together different people from EU countries, Turkey and Syria in an open dialogue leading to a more inclusive attitudine on the complicated issues of migration and interculturalism, while understanding that these issues also involve actual people and their lives, all together with their backgrounds, history, passions and personalities. Young volunteers will be involved in volunteering initiatives carried on by the association having the chance to reflect on migration and exchanging real life stories with children, young people and adults. They will gain new competences on creativity, education, management, and also new attitudes in seeing the world from another perspective. The local community will be supported by the open hearts of the volunteers, they will experience what free volunteering means, while also having a support on education, communitication, ICT and literature from them and realising their potential. On the other side, the local Turkish community will have the chance to interact directly with refugees, creating a link between them. "
