Glencoe Main Street Watermain Reconstruction

The project will replace the watermain along Main Street from Parkhouse Drive to Graham Street and Symes Street north to the town limits in Glencoe, Ontario. The work will involve replacing the existing watermain with a new and wider pipe, reattaching the side street interconnections, installing 12 new fire hydrants and main line water valves, and replacing connections to private water service. The roadway, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and affected driveways will also be replaced. The project will reduce the possibility of asset failure and service interruptions, prevent future drinking water advisories, increase water flows to residents and commercial customers, and reduce lifecycle and maintenance costs.
