Determine if any declines are similarly present in surrounding areas, and 4. Share information with cooperators and the public.  This information will inform future management of these species.  Information will be shared to increase public awareness; scientific community will gain new knowledge; project assists in understand of natural resources.  This project will be the most comprehensive assessment of the status and diversity of 29 rare plants in the park since 1993.  Fieldwork will include surveys at historic locations of rare plants to determine continued presence and diversity.  A report will summarize changes in populations since that time and compare results to surrounding landscapes with similar species.
