Description

The project aims to promote a greater understanding among young people of the EU's commitment to environmental sustainability, highlighting the role of European policies in the fight against climate change and the transition to a green economy. The specific objectives of the project will be: - Inform students and teachers about EU sustainability programmes and policies, such as the European Green Deal, the 2030 Agenda and the Biodiversity Strategy. - Develop critical skills in young people to analyse global and local environmental challenges, and the EU’s role in responding to them. - Raise awareness of active citizenship through the deepening of EU tools and initiatives for citizen participation (e.g. Conference on the - -- Future of Europe https://www.consilium.europa.eu/it/policies/conference-on-the-future-of-europe/). - Encouraging participation: Motivate young people to participate actively as informed and engaged European citizens. - Fostering dialogue: Creating spaces for dialogue and exchange of ideas between students, teachers and representatives of the European institutions. - Provide practical tools for teachers to integrate sustainability and the EU into school curricula. GG aims to transform schools into sustainability workshops, forming a new generation of responsible and aware European citizens. Through a combination of digital tools, practical activities and international collaboration, the project will ensure lasting impact over time.
