Description
Description | The 6th Round of Airport Concessions – South, North I and Central Blocks was approved at the 9th Meeting of the PPI Council, through Resolution No. 52, of 05/08/2019, converted into Decree No. 9,972, of 08/14/2019 . The project in question deals with the concession for the expansion, maintenance and exploration of 22 airports, distributed across three blocks. The concession of these 22 terminals is aligned with the purposes of the National Privatization Plan (PND), the General Grant Plan (PGO) and the National Civil Aviation Policy (PNAC). The concessions program in the airport sector aims to provide investments with quality and speed. The improvement in the provision of services has been noticed since the first round of airport concessions, in 2011, which led to significant investments in the main airports in the Brazilian network, benefiting the entire airline network and reducing the rates of delays and cancellations to better standards than international references. . As potential interested parties, players such as airport operators, financial investors and other interested parties stand out.
