Golden Dome missile defense system

Planned

The $175 billion Golden Dome for America missile defense system will be completely American-made and utilize next-generation technology to provide nearly 100% protection against missile attacks from foreign adversaries. It includes land, sea, and space sensors and interceptors, and is a layered defense system starting with ground-based interceptors. The system will be integrated with existing defense capabilities and capable of intercepting missiles launched from anywhere, including space. It will protect against hypersonic, ballistic, and advanced cruise missiles. Several U.S. states including Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, and North Dakota will be involved in its construction, with companies like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and L3Harris participating.
