Golden Dome Missile Defense System

planned

The Golden Dome is a space-based next-generation missile defense system proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. It aims to establish a multi-layered defense network extending beyond traditional ground-based interceptor systems to include space, high-altitude, and low-altitude coverage, relying on space-based interceptor satellites and surveillance and tracking satellite networks. The system is modeled after Israel's Iron Dome and AMD systems but is designed to cover a much larger area and counter more advanced missile threats.
