It is a joint venture between QatarEnergy and ExxonMobil, with a production capacity of 18 million tons per annum of LNG. QatarEnergy holds a 70% stake and ExxonMobil holds 30%. The project achieved sustained liquefaction operations and first LNG production from the first of three LNG trains on March 30, 2026, and began LNG exports on April 23, 2026. |
