Description | The Golden Triangle Polymers project is a world-scale integrated polymers facility under construction in Orange County. It is a joint venture between Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC and an indirect subsidiary of QatarEnergy, focused on producing high-density polyethylene. The facility will include a 2,080 KTA ethane cracker and two 1,000 KTA high-density polyethylene units, expected to create over 500 full-time jobs and approximately 4,500 construction jobs. Some units are set to begin operating this year, with full operation expected next year. |
