Description | The proposed investment entails a 3-year senior debt facility to Golomt Bank JSC (the Bank or Golomt Bank) of up to US$150 million, which comprises (a) IFC’s A Loan of up to US$100 million; and (b) up to US$50 million to be mobilized through B1/Parallel Loans from other investors. IFC’s A Loan will be committed in multiple tranches. At least 60% of the proceeds of the financing package is targeted to finance eligible green assets (including blue assets), and no less than 25% of the total proceeds will be used to finance eligible blue assets. The rest of the proceeds will be used to support the Bank’s loans to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) including women-owned SMEs (W-SMEs). At least 30% of the loan proceeds will be used to finance W-SMEs (the Project). |
