Description | This toll road project is divided in two sections: Gomez Palacio - Cuencame, which has 103 km extension and cost of US$ 145 million (US$ 160.2 million, 1993 value); and Cuencame - Yerbanis, which has 32 km extension and cost of US$ 55 million (US$ 61.1 million, 1993 value). The first section has an actual average daily traffic flow of 1,525, even though this value was first estimated to be 37,500 (this represented a fall in the internal rate of return from 37% to - 5%). Financing was provided by Banco Internacional. Autopista de Cuota is headed by Coconal, which holds 60% of the shares, while the remaining shares are held by local companies. None None |
