Description | The United States Government (USG), as represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications from local Non-Governmental Organizations (LNGOs), local For-Profit Organizations, local Colleges and Universities to implement a four year program entitled Good Governance Initiative Fund program. The authority for the RFA is found in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended. The vision behind the Good Governance Initiative Fund is to foster strong civil society partnerships and advocacy to challenge and enable governments to deliver on their promise of good governance. The Recipient will be responsible for ensuring achievement of the program objectives. Please refer to Section I, the Funding Opportunity Description for a complete statement of goals and expected results. Subject to the availability of funds, USAID intends to provide approximately $6,700,000 - $8,040,000 in total USAID funding allocated over the four-year period.
