awarded

Google's parent company Alphabet is acquiring Intersect Power, a US-based data center and energy infrastructure developer, for $4.75 billion. The acquisition includes Intersect's portfolio of in-development and under-construction energy and data center projects totaling several gigawatts. Intersect will remain a separate entity and continue to operate its existing assets in Texas and California independently. The deal aims to expand Google's capacity and innovation in power generation aligned with new data center loads, including ongoing projects such as a colocated data center and energy site under construction in Haskell County, Texas.
