The project includes three additional energy projects: Crosstrack, a 130-megawatt solar and battery storage facility in Pike County; Foundry Works, a 200-megawatt battery storage facility in Lake County; and Hardy Hills, a 130-megawatt battery storage facility near an existing solar farm in Clinton County. AES Indiana will own all three projects upon completion and Google will pay the full cost of powering the data center and these energy projects, estimated at $1.3 billion. The arrangement aims to prevent rate increases for AES customers. |
