To contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic and food development of rural communities in the Border Integration Zone (ZIF) between Colombia and Peru, by strengthening their livelihoods, food security, and binational cooperation for sustainable territorial management, through the following specific objectives: (i) strengthen cocoa agroforestry systems (SAF) by improving the productivity, sustainability, and climate resilience of family production units; (ii) improve food security and diversity with a gender focus, promoting access to nutritious food and the active participation of women in productive and food-related decision-making; (iii) consolidate territorial governance and binational coordination, by strengthening institutional and community coordination for inclusive and sustainable territorial management.
