Governance + Sport + Implementation project aims at improving the competences, skills and knowledge among National Sport Federations in terms of implementation of governance reforms. The rationale of this ACTION+ project is to gather the national agencies and ministries, who oversee and finance National Sport Federations, and with their involvement to facilitate the process of good governance reforms implementation by building capacity, skills and knowledge. On one hand by developing a workshop scenario for activation and individual work with National Sport Federations, and to develop a network of national facilitators, who will be able to provide further sustainability of the project after the pilot of the ACTION+ project is finished. All this will be supported for a strong information campaing in all partner countries and development of easy to follow paths for implementation in other Member States. Partners in the project are 7 Ministries or Governmental Agencies in charge of sport, two universities and a think tank specialized in sport governance. The successful implementation of this project will allow for gradual and sustainable improvement of governance among National Sport Federations in the partner countries and beyond.
