GPS Renewables CBG Projects Expansion

GPSR Arya, the asset platform of GPS Renewables, has raised ₹500 million in mezzanine funding from Axis Asset Management Company to accelerate the development of compressed biogas (CBG) projects across India. The company is partnering with public sector oil marketing companies including Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited to build a nationwide network of CBG plants, aiming to reduce fossil fuel dependence and lower greenhouse gas emissions. The current pipeline includes more than 30 operational or near complete projects and visibility on over 200 CBG projects under development, including MSW based CBG plants in Indore and Barabanki, and a large scale project in Kakinada.
