Global industrial real estate developer Panattoni has partnered with Edayar Zinc Ltd to develop a Rs 800-crore Grade A+ multi-client logistics and industrial park at Edayar Industrial Area in Kochi. The park will be the anchor development within Kerala Logistics and Industrial City (KLIC), aiming to position Kochi as a major hub for global logistics and manufacturing investment. The park will be developed in two phases, with the first phase covering 20 acres and featuring 520,000 sq ft of world-class infrastructure catering to clients in e-commerce, FMCG, 3PL, and pharmaceuticals. It will include 12-metre clear height, FM2-grade floors, 5-tonne per sq m loading capacity, K160 sprinklers, and IGBC-certified sustainable design. Construction is scheduled to begin in February 2026, with phase-1 operations expected by February 2027. The project will also feature integrated amenities such as a business centre, convention centre, medical centre, sports and entertainment zones, green spaces, and facilities for barge berthing and container storage.
