Description
Description | The project responds to the European Commission's call on the EU Member States to build a comprehensive tool for monitoring graduate employability at the national level while contributing to improving the availability of comparable data for comparative analysis at the EU level. Based on the recommendations of experts from the EGTI working group focused on monitoring graduates, one of the tools is the implementation of the European Graduate Survey. The aim of the project is to implement a uniform European methodology in surveying graduates through participation in the second phase of the Eurograduate Pilot Survey. The main motivation behind the project is to ensure uniform quality standards and the highest possible degree of comparability of collected data at the EU level. Fulfillment of the goal will be realized by replacing the existing national graduate survey with European-level activity. As part of the project implementation, existing administrative data sources will be used as much as possible in order to secure the highest effectivity of data collection through a survey. The creation of a comparable cross-country database at the EU level will provide important data for policy-making at both the national and European levels, which is necessary to ensure evidence-based responses to educational and labor market challenges. At the same time, the project will provide useful information on the non-economic aspects of the higher education system including its social mission and responsibility. The outputs of the project in the form of a database, press releases, analyzes, publications, and final conference will serve as a useful source of information for the policymakers, higher education institutions (HEI’s, students, and professionals in the field of education, career guidance, and labor market. Last but not least, the project will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the EGTI as well as to the full rollout of the Eurograduate survey. |
