It is part of an 800-mile transmission line spanning four states and aims to add 5,000MW of energy delivery capacity, unlocking market efficiencies and providing significant energy cost savings. The project was expected to start construction in 2026 but had its $4.9 billion loan guarantee funding terminated by the US DOE. |
