GRAND CIEL single co-development application The CE Media Co-Development application of Good Fortune Films intends to support the development of GRAND CIEL by Akihiro Hata. The project is co-developed with Tarantula Belgium and Les Films Fauves Luxembourg. The objectives of the project are: 1. To nurture and bring new talent to the international industry, as this is Akihiro Hata’s first feature film. 2. To closely collaborate with our European partners, bridging our skills and competencies, to develop and produce GRAND CIEL. The ultimate goal of the collaboration Is to reach the international market and improve its audience potential. 3. Through the development of the project, we will enhance our artistic and cultural collaboration with new and long-time partners, co-creating a film with strong European identity. The activities include creative development, location scouting, casting, collaboration with Heads of Departments to create the film’s world, budgeting, project marketing and financing. Through the development of GRAND CIEL, we expect several professionals to be benefited: • The writer and director of the project; • The company teams of Good Fortune Films, Tarantula Belgium and Les Films Fauves; • A great number of production personnel and creatives, including line producer, 1st assistant director, script advisors, location managers, casting director, Director of Photography, art director, VFX experts and marketing consultants, who will be engaged throughout the development process. The expected result is the successful co-development of the above-mentioned project up to the stage of production in collaboration with our international partners. As we proceed with the development, we expect several outputs, which will include updated shooting draft, updated budget and production schedule, updated creative teams, updated financing plan.
