Description | The proposed project will upgrade the downtown storm water system and incorporate rain garden and other green infrastructure to address flooding and improve storm water management. The project works will include: - installation of approximately 1,400 m of 250 to 600 mm diameter of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe; - installation of approximately 30 catch basins; - installation of approximately 15 concrete manholes; - approximately three tie-ins to the storm inceptor system; - road restoration to match existing conditions; - construction of rain gardens; - construction of approximately 250 m of bioswales; and, - installation of oil/grit separators. |
