Description | The Grande Prairie Community Knowledge Campus Retrofits, Repairs and Upgrades Project (the Project) will include: Repair of the existing underground tunnel system, including fixing ongoing leakage and water issues; Retrofits of access/egress door system at three main entrances of existing buildings; Retrofits of locker conversion systems in existing building to repair broken locker systems and install new locker systems in public access spaces; Upgrades to fitness equipment that has outlasted its life expectancy; and Repairs and upgrades to the sound systems in the existing twin ice arena facility, and the Multiplex, including replacing the sound board, speakers, and amplifiers. All components of the Project are to improve the overall safety, security, and wellness of those accessing the existing municipally owned and operated facilities. |
