Description

Description

The project forecasts activities that the EMN BE NCP plans to carry out in the course of 2026 and 2027 as described in the submission template (Part B) and in accordance with the general mission and objectives of the EMN and its Work Programme 2026-2027 approved by the European Commission and by the Steering Board of EMN. The EMN BE NCP plans to undertake all relevant activities set out in the Work Programme, notably, contributing to the collection of information on topics for studies, informs and ad-hoc queries, monitoring and reporting on relevant policy and legal developments in the annual Asylum and Migration Overview, and organising annual national conferences. In order to ensure quality and up-to-date information, the EMN BE NCP will continue to develop its network of relevant stakeholders. At EU and international levels, stakeholders include (i) EU institutions and initiatives and (ii) international and European organisations active in the areas of migration and asylum, or in related areas. At national level, stakeholders include (i) national authorities and institutions, (ii) national experts, (iii) other stakeholders active in the areas of migration and asylum, (iv) the wider interested public and (v) the media. Specific focus will be placed on expanding our national network among academia and non-governmental organisations. The EMN BE NCP will also be active in the promotion and dissemination of EMN outputs and activities to make sure the information reaches a wide audience. Efforts will be made to maintain regular presence online (website and social media) as well as to launch initiatives to reach the wider public through the media. The collection and dissemination of information should create long-lasting pathways for collaboration among all relevant actors active in the fields of asylum and migration.
