Description

Description

Other Agencies with Actions or Authorizations: California Department of the Army, US Army Corps of Engineers - Regulatory Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service Description: The Capital SouthEast Connector Joint Powers Authority (Connector JPA) in conjunction with the County of Sacramento, City of Rancho Cordova and Caltrans is working on preliminary engineering and environmental analysis to further develop the 7.4-mile Connector D2 segment.  The Connector D2 project will widen Grant Line Road from two lanes to four lanes from just north of the White Rock Road intersection south to Highway 16 (Jackson Highway). The proposed alignment will generally follow the existing Grant Line Road with minor adjustments to avoid wetland preserves. The project may also include frontage roads or private driveways to maintain existing access for adjacent properties. There will be nine access connections as part of the Connector D2 segment (existing intersections and planned intersections not in existence today):     White Rock Road     Centennial Avenue (joined with Raymer Road)     Douglas Road     North Loop Road (temporary signal)     Chrysanthy Boulevard     University Avenue     Kiefer Boulevard     Rancho Cordova Parkway     Jackson Road
