The Graphite Creek project in Alaska is a large-scale graphite production development located approximately 60 kilometers north of Nome on Alaska's Seward Peninsula. It is the largest known flake graphite deposit in the United States with 4.8 million tonnes of identified graphite resources. The project aims to establish domestic critical mineral production capabilities to support America's energy security and reduce dependence on foreign graphite supplies. It includes mining operations, processing facilities, and advanced manufacturing capabilities, with a five-phase open-pit extraction strategy and vertical integration from Alaska to Ohio processing facilities.
