Grassroots Community Cap. Building (PPF)

The present intervention concerns the preparatory facility of the Grassroots Communities Capacity Building Project. It's designed to allow for adequate preparation, participation of key stakeholders and consultation to ensure that their views and concerns are heard and taken into consideration during the design of the proposed project. The PPF should finance the following activities: (a) conduct studies, (b) conduct stakeholder workshops to build consensus on project design and proposed implementation modalities, (c) prepare detailed operational manual with guidelines, rules, and procedures on the implementation and financing of proposed project activities, (d) prepare a detailed project preparation report, and (e) plan and organize tnining and study tours for the staff and members of the PPF Task Force. The project is part of the Grassroots Community Capacity Building Program (GCCP) which is one of the government’s tools in the struggle against absolute poverty. It was drawn up to facilitate the planning, orientation and coordination of community level interventions, with the purpose of eliminating social exclusion, reducing absolute poverty, and guaranteeing sustainable socioeconomic development.
