The project plans an annual production capacity of 4 million tonnes to reduce import dependency and improve supply chain reliability for North American markets, particularly the US East Coast and Atlantic Canada. It benefits from proximity to deep-water port facilities, clean hydroelectric power, and strategic partnerships including a significant offtake agreement with Scotwood Industries and an equipment agreement with Sandvik. |
